I have started a "Money & Investing" Forum. Check it out! After many, many years (I am 61 now) and a lot of mistakes, I have finally learned, about the importance of being financially free. I was "brainwashed" with the "american way" of "keeping up with the Jones", for many years. All it did, was get me more in debt each day, each month, and each year. Finally, the only way for me to fix it, was to declare bankruptcy. But it doesn't have to be that way for YOU, if you stop "keeping up with the Jones" and start using your brain. Stop using your credit cards and start using CASH. If you can't buy it cash, you can't afford it, no matter what you try to tell yourself. Want to get rid of your credit cards? Take 10% of your pay each month and add it to your smallest credit card account payment, until you pay off that credit card. Then take that payment amount and add it to your next credit card account, etc, etc, until you pay them all off. You can do it! Don't wait until you are too deep in debt, and broke!!!
