why can i load my pics?

i'm new to this site, i have myspace and i also have migente and i dont have any problems with those sites at all so why cant i load the same pics i have in those sites to here? the answer i get is my pics are too big or too wide, thats kinda strange to me when there is images out there that are the same as mine, maybe i'm stupid! if i cant load the pics then there is no reason for me to be in this site, i'm not gonna be answering anyone when they ask me why i dont have a pic so i'm writing this blog, i'll give it a week and will try again otherwise i'm out of here!
